Makes plenty of sense. They’ve got to choose. If there is no choice then they must be a state. If they don’t wanna be part of America, then they must be independent. Right now they’re a weird in between and that’s not good for anyone. The United States should not have any territories or possessions.

They’ve had multiple referendums and I don’t believe in territories or possessions. Either everything we control is attached to state or is a state or it’s not part of our country at all in anyway. For example, all the possessions across the pacific should either be annexed to Hawaii or statehood
