Minimum wage should not only be linked to inflation and what a living wage is it should also be indexed to rent.
Rent goes up? Wages go up. Yes it would be quite the arms race, but then people could rightly point to the issue of landlords exploiting people.

What if California did what Oklahoma has just done and reduce their tax rate to zero.
California’s economy would be going gangbusters, but the rest of the country particularly red state would be bankrupt. I wonder if a minimum taxation rate federally would require equal skin in the game for states?

It is frustrating when politicians do work that average people can do and expect credit. Yet we look at them as members of Congress to do work that only the elite can do. That’s where they would gain credit.

To eliminate confusion all law-enforcement should have to log the specific law you were breaking at the time of being detained. So perhaps they need a searchable tablet so they can be accurate.

Weird take: there is a movement among conservatives to have more than just a few children, but to have quite a lot of children. This means in a democracy, they are making more voters than liberals are. Literally trying to breed out opposing ideology.

All federally recognized tribes should start issuing their members passports. Since they are sovereign, but dependent nations, they then have the sovereign ability to issue a passport, and all of their members are then dual citizens. It is good defensive policy

In times of economic anxiety, you have to push for economic justice. Once we are on the upswing and people feel safe, then we can focus on social justice.

Don’t agree on capitalism? But agree on fascism being terrible? Then you at least temporary all allies.
