Between that and the text messages, it's a wonder Democrats still win at anything. I guess it works well enough for them to keep doing it, but all it manages to do is piss me off and not want to donate. I do, but on my own terms.

No example will be set. She'll just be excommunicated from MAGA, as has happened to anyone else who crossed Trump over the years. So, I'm laughing at the “setting an example” part. 😁

This woman is an absolute badass. Incredible video, and story!

This is bizarre to me, and I do think about it a lot. It really forces me to go back and think about all the criticisms that Sarah Kendzior had about him when she was doing the Gaslit Nation podcast.

You've never seen me at 6am before my coffee. It *is* tough! But I also am not running the DOJ, so there's that.

Garland might have been a good AG in a Bush II, or Clinton presidency, but he was just not the person for this climate. I can't remember when I started to sour on him. It was probably whenever the delusions I had that the country was going to heal wore off.

In fairness, I have no real idea what Garland was up against, and I am playing Monday morning quarterback a bit here. He did appoint Jack Smith, who seemed inclined to move quickly and efficiently, but even that was too late.

But, it's hard not to feel like Garland let us down.

I remember, in 2022, wishing that Biden would replace Garland with someone like Letitia James and send Garland back to the bench. Ms. James likely would not have made it through a senate confirmation, so my expectations were a bit too high. Still, Garland was the wrong person.

Sarah Kendzior, authoritarian scholar, debunked this fan fiction numerous times.

At best, Garland acted too slowly in an effort to appear apolitical. At worst, he had no intention of seeing the investigation through, because that was never the plan.

Addendum: still not announcing this on LinkedIn. It'd be much more embarrassing to have to retract everything there than here. Here, I can rage against evil corporations more freely. No one really knows me here, but on there, the stakes feel much higher.
