Streamers do, because they're in control of the broadcast... but do spectators? If you told me "come watch my mahjong game" as a friend, and I was naive to the genre, it might be a genuine shock to see one of those fetishy mangan animations or to get flashbanged by an ass in fishnets.

I can’t believe I’m writing this sentence but it’s one thing to have an RPG or VN where the characters’ appearances are relevant, and another thing where I’m trying to play Funny Tile Game and I get hit with an X rating because I dealt into a baiman.

my problem is the *kind* of games it’s in. There’s definitely places (like mahjong games) where it’s egregious and tangential to the entire purpose of the game. If the “adult” content is part of real characterization where it’s arguably important to the game I have far fewer problems with it.

You have to ask him. You can’t go on holiday break without answers. Sit there questioning the birb for DAYS if you have to. He could help you solve one of life’s greatest mysteries and all you gotta do is make him talk.

It's also instructive to view early games as expressive art filtered through the lens of computer capability of the time. Designs on pre-2000 hardware are not just about how engaging of an experience the designer can make, but how they express ideas inside the limitations presented by the hardware.

That's the fun part... every dealer repeat adds 2 tai and the limit to your possible losses is *very* large. (I think it takes negative 1,000,000 to bust.)

Want something to do with all those coins? There's actually quite a degenerate Taiwanese style mode hidden in the "casual game" formats. The stakes are 10,000 coins per tai and there's some wild punches that get thrown there. Test yourself.
