The biggest hole in my life as I approach middle age that almost everyone I know seems to have gone through: I've never shared a home with a friend or a roommate. And as an ace who doesn't see marriage or kids in my future, I don't want to age into a lonely home. I guess I gotta figure this one out.

I feel like a complete chump for having a "knowledge work" job where I have to be physically present. Everyone else in my friend group gets to take a lot more vacations and go to social events and I'm stuck working second-shift hours onsite. I feel like I screwed up pretty bad to get to this point.

@revenantkioku.letsplaying.com drops another banger #FiestaSideEvent with Dungeon Antiqua! After I thoroughly enjoyed last year's FFTactics Five Job Fiesta, I had to try this one too. It was a nice challenge that only took me about three nights to complete. I am excited to try the Hard Mode!

Our boy Dave killed it yesterday and the rest of us held in there enough to see us through! The Opie Dopes are going to the finals of the Riichi Mahjong Champions League to fight for WORLD CHAMPION STATUS. Tune in next Saturday for the fight.
Purely for my own satisfaction, but I also was far and away the highest-scoring player on this leg of the tournament. Plus, here's the yakuman I pulled.

One of the few black engineers of his time, Lawson led the team that worked on the Fairchild Channel F and was the foremost among the group of five people that invented the video game cartridge. He also did work in ham radio, military aviation, and the early commercial computer industry.

I am genuinely worried that AI is going to destroy the value of everything I’ve spent the last 20 years of my life mastering. I am not good with people outside of the context of teaching, and my type of intelligence is about to be obsoleted by an overgrown autocomplete.
