I've heard some online chatter of "oh real theatre people know how bad he is at this" and I'm like, babes, I literally have a Masters degree in Dramaturgy, and know Wicked really well, and the dramaturgical work that he and the screenwriters did on this show is jaw-dropping and meticulous.

my other thoughts can basically be summed up as i really appreciate rep for masc ppl with trauma and also at no point was the plot any less than the wildest thing i’ve ever read
