The AWAC mentoring committee is now opening registration for AWAC PODS for the winter term.

AWAC PODS are self-supporting small groups of four to six WAC administrators who meet on a regular schedule to discuss program development, project development, assessment, and other WAC initiatives.

In the 11 years since the Statement was released, much empirical research has been conducted, and educational climates internationally have shifted.

And so AWAC welcomes individuals interested in this revision work to join us in this effort through one or more of these opportunities.

It's been 11 years since the International Network of WAC Programs and Conference on College Composition and Communication endorsed the Statement of WAC Principles and Practices.

AWAC believes it's time to revisit and assess whether those principles and practices still hold true.

This collaborative talk presents findings from an international research project investigating VR as a tool for writing in courses and professions.

Through mixed-methods research, the team examined how writers adapt to immersive technologies and reflect on the embodied nature of composition.
