IR is such a US-coded discipline that you have loads of analysts and journalists with IR backgrounds still churning out wordcount about what Trump will do with US hegemony even as the geopolitical reality looks more and more like this:

Championed landmark environmental reform, preempted an international position from the EU, on the popular side of the foreign policy argument on how to treat the US, about to make sweeping gains in the locals. Zeitgeist on Ai, etc working hard etc

When Trump talks about hating on every other country, he's talking about *you*

(Quick note for the Tories, bootlicking for Trump and selling out NATO is actually bad)

It only takes a very small step for the LDs to steal official opposition from the Tories, and if they get hold of it for only a a second (with all the credentials and toys it hands them,) it puts the Tory/Ref right into much deeper trouble than people realise
As a wet globalist, it is IMO obviously very bad for everyone if the Conservative party does not recover, what replaces it will not be good, only the centre-right can act as a lasting barrier to the far right…but given I can’t control that, you gotta find the laughs where you can:
2025 will be a political shootout. Which leader has most to fear?
This country may not be big enough for both Nigel Farage and Kemi Badenoch — but danger still lurks around every corner for Keir Starmer

RE Buses: I don't know what the difference between "unprecedented increases in funding" is between Torbay and Cambridgeshire, but my head says Torbay is getting triple deckers and Cambridgeshire are upgrading to space shuttles.
