Orlando Gay Days, which started in 1991 when a group of friends picked the first Saturday in June to celebrate as Gay Day and has long featured the unofficial gathering at Walt Disney World, has been canceled for 2026 due to a lack of sufficient sponsorships.
Orlando Gay Days ‘paused’ this year as sponsors bailed, group says
Organizers of the event, held annually for over three decades, cited a number of issues including the loss of key sponsorship support. But they insist the celebration will return.
