After years of being on the maximum dose of focalin and two other medications, my mom had me take a break from all of them in middle school, and multiple teachers remarked that my behavior had actually improved without knowing that I had stopped my medication.

Dismissing an actual issue as a fabricated moral panic based on one paragraph is irresponsible. I was on 3 different prescription medications for most of my childhood due to my ADHD and side effects from the ADHD medication. They exacerbated my existing anxiety disorder.

Just force them to take a US citizenship test before each term. It makes sure they have some basic civic education and it functions as a makeshift dementia test to make sure they are at least somewhat cognizant.

As a person who can't eat gluten, I don't think there is a single item on their menu I can eat besides apple slices. I figured I'd at least be able to eat the fries or hashbrowns, but after checking on their website I found out they both have wheat.

The economics on that don’t work at all. Buying instant ramen is way cheaper than produce, even if you assume you’re eating 3 times as many calories in ramen. Healthy food is expensive, even if you aren’t eating as much as you would have of unhealthy food.

They eat too many calories because the cheap food they have access to has no nutritional value. The only options they have are become overweight or suffer from vitamin deficiency.
