Cold was the perfect book to read as the first snow falls. This mix of crime, mystery, and horror with elements of traditional Anishinaabe stories was unputdownable!

When I read The God of Small Things at 18, I thought it was the perfect novel, and it changed the way I engaged with literature. So whenever Arundhati Roy publishes a new book, it’s a literary event for me!
