A little trick I learned with painting with acrylics is to use water color pencils when sketching on the canvas so it won't leave any smudges and will dissolve into the paint when you paint over it. Would have made my life easier to have learned this earlier haha xD

The Golden Butterfly
I've been stressing out way too much today, so I decided that a drawing would do me some good. Even though I was lazy with the city, I had a lot of fun making the foreground. I think for a silly doodle, this turned out surprisingly good.

Edward Hyde has gotten himself stabbed, and, unfortunately for him, this means that he has to figure out how to survive without transforming into Jekyll until his wound heals. And Lanyon, the unfortunate aristocrat, must endure Hyde's antics as he tries to find his best friend Henry Jekyll.

This OC here doesn't currently have a story. I just know that she's some elegant lady with some dark secrets. She has a strong connection with roses (I was thinking about the roses the entire time I drew her [as pretty as a rose, as sharp as its thorns]). #OC #OCArt #Art #OriginalCharacter

The first doodle of the woman has her standing elegantly on the left side of the image with her hands folded in front of her. She wears a long magenta turtle neck dress that completely hides her feet. Her hair is pink and curly, reaching all the way to her waist. On the sides of her face, some of the hair is gathered in two ponytails, one on each side of her face, that have their hair ties at the bottom of them.
