My experiences with bad healthcare in San Diego are not all recent. There’s something rotten in this city. I can tell you in my experience what one of those are!

They also didn't review my chart. If even a cursory review had been done, they would have read that I had recently had a colonoscopy & had been taking large amounts of ibuprofen because of the IV infiltration arm injury. All irritating to the stomach!

I've found who it is that doesn't want to work anymore & it's health care professionals in San Diego. For example, it turns out my "gallbladder pain" is gastritis. I was referred for surgery with little workup. My pain wasn't classic gallbladder so I refused. 2 week course of Prilosec fixed me up.

I am finding this DIY method of healthcare to be a San Diego peculiarity:
- CVS wants me to find the supply to fill my own prescription.
- Scripps PCP does 0 exams but instead refers me wherever I suggest.
- UCSD refused to evaluate my IV injured arm & said I made it up, so I had to self treat. 2/

That is on brand with any policy pushed by the DNC.

As someone who has been ignored and gaslit by doctors trained in the last five years, I can tell you amateur "pattern matching" is alive and well.

I said AI because AI is a predictive model and takes words, and word order, literally. AI doesn't hear or understand cultural meaning between the words the way I do or you do. It likely read this as "bad English" or containing a typo.
