One of my biggest flaws as a person is my cowardice, my inability to take a stand where it matters because I'm afraid of how others will react or how it'll effect me.
I feel like such a scared and selfish coward and it's something I'm still trying to overcome.

I feel this. Who can really deal with stupid nonsense like getting lectured for enjoying what you do? It's not a thing anyone should feel worried about. I rather people grow actual principles than worry about whatever online outrage happens in the week.
