So part of his argument is that Minnesota is “really far away” from Somalia. That’s true - it’s 8,378 miles away.

Well, if you actually joined a conference for football maybe you wouldn't have to worry about singled out to promote a team that actually *is* a full member. You can't reap the benefits of not being in a FB conference and then complain when the conference you refuse to join advocates for their own.

I believe three different GOP politicians have the “don’t know about the facts” answer today.

Let’s just do 16 teams already. An underrated benefit of that: the top four teams would get a home game! They sort of get penalized in the current model by not getting one.

The absurdity of all this is perfectly illustrated by Kirk Herbstreit last night when he said teams (Bama) should not be penalized for losing a one-sided game in their conference championship…then says BYU should drop for losing a one-sided game for their conference championship.

Calling it now: any non conference games of meaning will go away. Teams would rather be 12-0 and rely on name brand recognition than risk losing and it actually being held against them

Hard to argue with this. I kind of feel like they let Bama in because they already had one horrible decision to defend…especially the week after they MOVED BAMA UP after barely beating Auburn.
This is the worst selection committee we've ever had.
Cannot believe Alabama didn't even drop one spot after the SEC title game blowout. Cannot believe they waited until the final reveal to flip Miami-ND. Could have done it at ANY point.
