T-Mobile 5G network doing really well here. Speedtest giving me over 800 Mbps. That took up almost half my data plan though, lol.

The onboarding experience was painless. Did everything directly through the app and it seamlessly installed the eSIM. Since this is just a backup line, I don’t care about support quality, I can just cancel and go to Mint whenever. All things being equal, happy to give @smartless.bsky.social my money

It would be cool to have an abstraction layer for generically creating secrets, storing it in the cheapest option that supports usecase, and then build External Secrets Operator manifests for you, pulling from wherever the secret was stored.

Definitely much cheaper. Need AWS RAM to share cross account though. Also no secret rotation, and a 4 KB limit, so not great for cert chains.

I had a similar idea a couple decades ago called GivingHost, where we would donate 10% of revenue to the charity of their choice (from a preselected list). I stopped because AWS became more of a thing.

I’ve been pleasantly surprised by it. I love just being able to scale up via adding more storage nodes.
