Thank god the 5yo wanted to make Pigeon for her school’s “storybook pumpkin patch” because she was able to do 95% of the work on this (I mainly was there for the super glue, and painting the wing) and it actually looks like the character. Thank you Mo Willems for simple but fun characters.

Won a Showgirl cardigan at Taylor trivia tonight. Team Wasted Like All Our Potential got second (this is me trying stans rise up). My husband helped with one question so it was truly a team effort.

In today’s social media weirdness, a friend asked me if I knew I used the Russian flag instead of Dutch flag on my FB bio & I was like I’m pretty sure I just have the US flag. But mine showed mystery squares and when I go to the edit function there isn’t even a second flag, just the US one????

There are certain songs/bands that bring me back to a particular time, and honestly 3 Doors Down had several songs that were the unofficial soundtrack of the early years of the War in Terror (especially as we were a military family and they were used for every slideshow at events)
