Yes it’s crushing & terrifying to see evil rise

But the defiance of good people,
refusing to become bad, has to be one of the most soul edifying things in this world

Caring is a choice WE get to make

Know what broadens the mind? Books (text & audio), travel, & being around people who move through the world in a different race, language, class or other way from you.

It’s sure as eggs not giving headspace to right-wing conspiraloons on social media.

I’m into my care era

Selfcare, community care, extending tenderness & kindness around the places & spaces I move

I still have teeth. But I think the world has enough fighters right now

It needs more healers & carers providing hope & respite through the storm
