In 10 years the Republican party has gone from the "party of McCain" to arrest and deport dissenting opinions critical of a foreign regime. In twenty 25 years it went from "We will be greeted as liberators." to We will commit genocide in Gaza and put up resorts. The rate of escalation is astounding.
