I saw a new doc a couple weeks ago. I waited a whole year for my appointment with Dr. Chung at the Johns Hopkins POTS Clinic. We were in a video call for a little over an hour. It was the best appointment. It’s the first appointment I’ve had with a doc who knows more than I do about ME/CFS. I have quantitative autonomic testing and a tilt table test in April to check for POTS. I’m dreading it but looking forward to hopefully knowing more about my medical mystery of a bod.

We got more snow yesterday. It's so pretty! ❄️ It's supposed to be very cold this weekend. 🥶 Super grateful my little fam and I will be safe and warm. Thinking of the many folks who will be enduring the cold with less safety and less warmth this weekend. ❤️

It's silly that I have to wear gloves to use my laptop. I'm all for a sharp edge, but oof. 😆 The gloves do help but I wish they were a smidge thicker.

Do y'all have this issue? Do you think we have lower pain tolerances compared to healthy folk?

36ish hours since my C19 vax and my shoulder continues to be super unhappy. My other shoulder is still a little sore from the flu vax, but this is just extra. 😆 It feels like some kind of mutant sunburn/hive/bruise hybrid. I'm not a fan. 😛

(Glad to be vaxxed though.)

That society expects us — people with ME/CFS and other chronically ill and disabled folks — to continue on with life essentially pretending that we have healthy bodies while seriously ill is absolutely absurd.
