Then this line about “him” being a paradox. I have used the word paradox with Tily in one specific circumstance. Even gaylors say Tily is a “made up ship so it can’t be real” which feels paradoxical because aren’t all fan ships made up? And what does real mean when we all just don’t know anything?

This song is so autumn coded (sad girl autumn version!), and then we get to “the first fall of snow” which feels again like when the tide turns in the relationship based on the story she’s telling. It glistened because the idea of the wedding would’ve been wonderful :(

Another snow globe reference is the Lover video! The song has explicit wedding imagery of course, but the music video is about Taylor closeting and being in a room full of people and her male partner doesn’t see her. I would elaborate more but character limits and you guys know 👀
