NEW WALK FOLKS! A Meander around St Paul's. Thursday 5 June 10.30am.

Here are narrow medieval lanes, tiny squares filled with treasures, Wren churches, the grandeur of Guildhall, traces of old Roman roads and walls, and a special park for postmen.

Voss Street, running parallel with Bethnal Green Road, a narrow passageway full of old character and no doubt the ghosts of a few East End rogues.

This morning with sunshine streaming through the windows, I decided to begin my extensive London cafe research. Soon after dropping off the little one for choir, all a buzz with chatter and laughs, ah kids, myself and the wife then strolled down Bethnal Green Road for a spot of light breakfast.
