Tech and movie enthusiast. Take no prisoners — they eat.
This hurts as regulators have culled a stray from the red list. Now, the Western pack of robot vacuum cleaners is Dyson, Shark, Chinese OEMs, and niche offerings (which might be Chinese OEMs under cover). It gets worse: Xiaomi’s investments have defeated all of them with the exception of Dyson.
Regulators may have saved Amazon some future headaches – certainly they saved them some money. But they also killed iRobot.
Congrats Regulators, You Killed Roomba
Actually, you just put a Chinese robot in every home...

Pluribus works well as its AI critic builds on a familiar critical narrative:
- You will be happy as long as we establish the rules.
- As of E6, the system is doomed with no plan to save it.
- This means life will be perfect, but no one gets out alive.

The greatest lesson of Pluribus is that a dialogue-heavy movie isn't always the most effective. It picks up where S3 of Twin Peaks left off — well-calibrated phrases highlight events that speak for themselves. In other words, having less dialogue results in saying more.

E Ink is interesting, but the reading experience is not:
- The only premium Kindles are Voyage/Oasis on eBay.
- A Remarkable (or market) doesn’t want you to read.
- iPad mini isn't an e-reader, and Apple neglects books.
- AI contradicts reading.

John Ternus is good news for chips and devices, but socks and straps might be in jeopardy.
This is also perhaps a unique moment in time for Tim Cook to step down as Apple CEO, if he wanted to...

Anderson does what no one can (at least for 140 million):
- makes a movie about political divisions
- depicts everyone as fools
- decides to pick a side.

If this movie achieves its goal — an Oscar — over time, the red carpet will become a memorial to a civil war.
