Eating those garlic knots was like turning away from the shadows and seeing the opening of the cave for the first time
I'm trying to sneak past my sleeping cat. I stumble, causing too much noise. I freeze, eyes fixed on his small, furry face. His ears twitch. His little eyes open. I turn to flee, but it's too late. He's awake. He sees me. Sleep is a distant memory to him now. All he craves is pets and chin scratches

It's always fun to revisit old stories. I'm really proud of everything I've put out so far, but I'm also excited about the stuff I'm working on now. It's a good place to be, feeling like your next story might be your best yet
