Occasional freelance artist and full time loser. Interest revolve around illustration, vinyl records, ttrpgs, video games and dogs more than anything else. If I post at all, I am so so sorry.
Finished Dungeons of Hinterberg last night, and I didn't realize it was what I needed. Between the Zelda-like dungeons, the Persona-like social system and the clever take on small towns and tourism, I didn't want the vacation to end. I'm actually sad it's over. Thank you @microbirdgames.bsky.social

So since I'm on funemployment I'm going through my Steam backlog trying to play some interesting gems I havent touched.

Finished Arco today and it's a mesoamerican tactical RPG that really weights on choices and consequences and might be one of the best games released last year. highly recommended

So I owe @witchboyofboston.bsky.social and @lizardbish.bsky.social so much. No idea why they were both so kind, but thanks to them and their generosity my gaming days are set for...probably the rest of the year. I have good people on my life and God knows what I did to deserve them.

The real world is awful, American continues to decline in the worst ways, my wife's severance officially ends tomorrow and we have an estimate of water damage done to the condo...

...but Final Fantasy Tactics re-released today, so at least I feel some peace.

Look the movie is a deeply moving and personal story that related to my own feelings of masculinity, the failing health of people you love and learning when it okay to let go and what you took from them to continue on...but the opening scene is children being torn apart while watching Teletubbies.

Got some rough news today, so I'm making myself feel better by seeing just how much of my life has been wasted chasing steam achievments just to feel an inflated sense of importance. The fact that I've raised the percentage bar to 50% is...worrying.

The true hero of Alien: Earth. Look at him. This little guy hasn't done a thing wrong in his life. Let's buy him a present.

Two more images. Still doesn't include what's in my current home.

Visited my parents the other day and looked at all the comics I still have in storage. It's funny that I only really started collecting them after I went to art college. It was oddly nostalgic and a little sad and now I just want to find a place to put them in my new home and re-read them all.

Looks like the original one, not the remake, but...behold. in all its uh, glory.

Happy Father's Day, happy Red sox vs the Yankees and most importantly of all...so proud seeing so many protest yesterday.

No kings.

Finished Clair Obscur and it might be one of the best games I have ever played and a wonderful exploration of grief. Still continued to astonish me with every area, character and twist and they only reason I will occasionally shut up about it is so I don't spoil it for people who haven't played yet.

I think I found the broken build to take on the superbosses.

Look I played fair for so long in Clair Obscur but these things are nightmares and I think I just want them to all die now.

To contrast my previous video game merch being Doom related, my other purchase was the Sims 25th anniversary vinyl. Lots of fond memories letting entire families being unable to escape the pool.

Despite the cape being absolutely awful to put together (seriously), this is a mighty fine statue of the Doom Slayer we got here. Gonna start Doom the Dark Ages in style.

Oui oui Baguette.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 so far.
April 28, 2025 at 1:48 PM
Okay how is the SECOND dungeon in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 an underwater forest where every few feet is a new, insanely beautiful environment that I think can't be topped until 10 feet later when a NEWER more BEAUTIFUL environment is shown???

This game is going to become my personality isn't it.

I know I usually wait for games to get a lot cheaper, but the voice cast and visual design won me over ages ago. Let's see the French take on the jrpg genre.

I have spent more than I want to admit making my ship in Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii look like a rejected design from One Piece. Singing karaoke on the high seas.

Mine literally just arrived and it's a work of art.

Me being at work instead of playing the new Like a Dragon game is a crime. Let me be a pirate yakuza summonignghost sharks for goodness sake.

Instead of chocolates, my wife got me games to add to my Steam account. True love.

Picked up Eat the Reich from it's amazing concept alone. Hell. Yeah.
