Don’t be mad at Biden - he only got one vote on November 5th, just like the rest of us.

This is what Presidents are supposed to do

I find it ironic that the same folks who keep insisting that we can’t have gun control because we might need “Second Amendment remedies” to defend democracy are the reason we might actually need to defend democracy.

My only goal in life right now is to be included in a starter pack.

Fully aware that I’d be the Fritos in the Frito-Lay chips variety pack, but I’m prepared to stay in my lane in that regard.

Every time I start to wonder how in the hell Donald Trump managed to fall bass-ackwards into the Oval Office twice, I’m going to read this picture.

Another reason I’m liking Bluesky more than Threads - it doesn’t blast my “tweets” (or whatever) all over Instagram.

I can keep breaking news and political commentary on Bluesky, and my family/friends and half-naked strangers on IG, without being forced by Meta to mix the two.

Seeing Trump’s appointments, It’s almost as if his decade-long goal of dismantling the federal government is being realized.

If we really want this app to overtake Threads we’re going to need SlimJim to come through and harass and follow everyone for like a month straight and then seemingly fall off the face of the planet.

Yes yes yes. I have run a 24/7, 365 operation since I got elected. I have a permanent campaign HQ that rotates between off-year and on-year organizing.

People thought it was nuts when I first set it up. I said you’re setting yourself up for disaster if you only show up 6 mos before an election.
We also treat “the campaign” as if it’s something that occurs June-November. What the right knows and excels at is that the campaign exists every day, all year around. Dems need to do a better job of touting their legislative wins and bashing the gop for opposing popular bills that help real people.
The ironic thing about post election chatter is that a lot of the time it’s candidates who lost, underperformed, or underworked who have endless time to go on TV and share their blame story.

And for their part, journalists rarely EVER ask if that person actually ran a functionally solid campaign

You just know the new head of *checks notes* the Department of Government Efficiency has said “whoever smelt it dealt it” through a cheesy grin at least once within the past year.

I always thought if America ever slipped into a fascist dark age it would be at the hands of charming propagandists and would include grand symbolism and pageantry.

This has to be the least impressive fascist regime the world has ever seen.

Of all the fascist regimes in history, we got this one 😒

I agree with Keith here, and I’ve been saying for a while now that Democrats have to stop chasing their tail and saying “see, he’s saying XYZ! He’s saying the quiet part out loud! He said he would do A and he’s actually doing B!”

Dems need to focus on their strategy and not the keys being dangled.
A preview of things to come if Democrats don’t quickly get smart and strategic.

This is absolutely eye opening.

It’s surreal and still almost beyond comprehension that we lived to see Americans willingly vote for less freedoms and for someone “like Hitler.”

You couldn’t put words together that would have adequately convinced 10 year old me that this would be reality one day.
I guess some people really do like to learn things the hard way.

Happy Veterans Day to all those who our next President called suckers and losers.

2026 needs to be big for the Democratic Party.

Dems have 24 months to organize a winning strategy and make a strong case for health and prosperity in the future of this country.

That strategy has to include engaging in authentic dialogue on social media, YouTube journalist channels, and podcasts.

My daughter voted in her first election this year

Like many, she’s disappointed, angry, and scared

When asked what now, I’ll say the same thing I said to her

As long as there are elections in this country we live to fight another day & we prepare for the midterms

We thrive no matter the climate

Yes, Donald Trump’s presidency is going to be a shitshow.

Also yes, as he has always done, he will blame anything that goes wrong on Democrats.

Saying outlandish things is how he controls the narrative and news cycle.

It will serve Dems well to not frantically chase every dangle of the keys.

I never used Twitter, but I am here from Threads, and so far I posted a few minutes ago and wasn’t slammed with insufferable shit-rage comments.

We’re off to a great start.

I’ve been hearing this app has picked up steam since I last used it. Threads is suppressive, so I’m going to be more present here.

I’m Kevin, and I’m a pro-democracy advocate in Texas doing what I can to help Democrats maintain the guardrails of our nation.

I’d love it if you’d consider following!

I wish the media would stop chasing Donald Trump’s distractions and treating them like they’re real stories.

He’s not filing legitimate appeals.

He’s running down the clock.
