Noticed I’ve been getting a lot of purple hues in my vinyl hauls recently in color variants and sleeves. Decided to celebrate the purple with a purple-hued vinyl wall update. This idea came after marveling at the absolutely gorgeous Free Throw 10 year anniversary Those Days Are Gone album.

I never know what to say on here but breaking out of lurker status to share that I’ve been getting back into vinyl recently which has felt really good. I’m slowly curating a space for myself along with it and super happy with how it’s turning out. Here’s my new vinyl wall in my den/office so far.

My kid is developing a mathematical formula to calculate the amount of drama in a given time period based on # of teens and their corresponding ages minus number of adult chaperones present with an event multiplier for school dances and field trip bus rides.

Went without water for 48 hrs because of issues with the well. Now that water is back, spent the last 2 days using All. Of. The. Water. All the dishes. All the laundry. All the showers. Watered all the plants. Cleaned all the bathrooms. And washed/scrubbed all the windows & doors inside and outside.

Just finished up all the sewing for my renaissance fair outfit and I’m feeling pretty proud of myself tbh. Took a $300 inspo outfit and made it for under $100 including accessories. Maybe I’ll repurpose it for Halloween with some mods…..this is my favorite season I want to make ALL THE THINGS.
Instead of making the usual “I don’t have the time right now” excuse when declining a request to volunteer for something that’s burned me way out in the past, I actually said no. Not now, not for the foreseeable future due to it taking a toll on my mental health. Idk how to feel about this.

No one ever prepares you for the emotional roller coaster of your kid’s birthday when every day was a fight to keep them alive in utero & NICU + your body failed all other pregnancies. I’m grateful to have one amazing child but today is also a reminder of immense amounts of struggle along the way.
