(Also, from the @propublica.org piece - my own shoutout to the IRS workers who in many cases are just doing their jobs enforcing the laws, whether it is in favor of the government or the taxpayer).

When you credulously reframe Putin and Russia as “anti-woke” instead of fascist - you are certainly missing the part where you need to remove the white hood of anti-wokeness to reveal the craziness underneath. Jesus.

Hm. Interesting framing by CNN as compared to the BBC and Reuters.
Declaring an independent journalist a protester for asking questions is a dangerous slope. Don’t give into this because it will only get that much worse on Tuesday.
We also can’t gatekeep being a journalist.

I got a very timid and apologetic fundraising email from a(n unnamed) news organization and I was just…angry. This isn’t the time to be afraid to ask. Reader-funded journalism is worth it.
