I also set intentional reading goals in Feb but make sure to read Black voices all year. And I try to include all year in every book talk at least one Black voice. While ALSO trying to center Black women and trans folks.

100% - I have tried to hard to navigate this thread carefully, signaling to some I'm an ally while avoiding appear "political." I feel for kids right now. And the Tiktok stunt is so hard to facilitate discussion about.
