The audacity to send this in the same week as the Senate vote

Fingers crossed it’s a pluribus

43. Sesame Street: Put Down the Duckie (1988) I can’t pick a favorite cameo from this absolute delight of a special, so I won’t.

But the best part is Cookie Monster being grilled over Cookie-Gate while his lawyer, Kermit, whispers answers to him.

I love every bit of this

Do you live in one of these states? Today is a great day to announce a primary challenge.

Let us begin the national news cycle of “sure, Dems swept nearly every possible race, but how will they attract voters moving forward?”

Very clever of Paramount Plus to put "Cancel" on the edit your subscription plan page because hitting it means you cancel editing your plan, not canceling your plan altogether

25. Hot to Trot (1988) How much cocaine do you think it took to make this movie where Bobcat Goldthwait gets financial advice from a talking horse played by John Candy?

24. Masters of Menace (1990) I am baffled by these weird, terrible movies that are chock full of cameos.

Will never not be haunted by the @soundoftheforest.bsky.social fun fact that some snails have up to 20,000 teeth

23. Boris and Natasha: The Movie (1991) I just cannot fathom who this live action Rocky and Bullwinkle spinoff (without the moose or squirrel) was supposed to be for. Baffling.

19. Hostage for a Day (1994) John Candy’s assistant wrote this, and I’m guessing asked John to make it for him as a favor because it is incoherently terrible. And they just used a picture of Candy from Summer Rental (he has long hair and a beard in this) for the poster.

Even by spam text standards, this is pretty lazy

15. It Seemed Like a Good Idea at the Time (1975) A buckwild excruciating 90 minutes of nonsense. Kind of fun seeing a pre-SCTV John Candy, though. Bonkers poster too.

14. Armed and Dangerous (1986) I know this was originally written for Belushi and Ackroyd, but when they rewrote it for Candy and Levy, did they take all the jokes out?

Also, the iconic John Candy racquetball scene remains iconic

Way less surprising than Michael Moore being the writer and director of Canadian Bacon is Google AI just being dead wrong about something
