Last pepper haul for the season. Had hoped to get some more color out of this batch, but will take what we can get. Just happy to have one more round of shishito pepper + red potato hash for the year. Until next summer, lil shishitos. 🫡

Massive green tomato haul today. Sadly just wasn’t time for all these puppies to ripen (weird summer for tomatoes, this was).
But not really sad at all, because all of these will become a delicious, cozy canned green tomato curry to enjoy all winter long 😍🍛

According to Sahan Journal’s mayoral quiz, none of the opposing candidates support that specific property tax increase. Of course it’s pretty easy to oppose as a challenger, but many of the candidates (Fateh + Davis for sure) have strong alternate revenue (non-property tax hike) plans.

I’m so tired, exhausted even. But only lost one jar (recovered its contents though!) and came out the other end with quite a haul. So I guess that’s worth it!
