31 - Our Song by Anna Carey
Really enjoyed this. A breezy read, very romantic, with evocative and authentic music chapters (both about writing it and playing live). I can 100% see this being turned into a film. (Josh O'Connor and Jessie Buckley, call your agents!)

30 - Broken by Don Winslow
Loved! One of the most entertaining books I read this year. 6 satisfying crime novellas* all with different flavours, voices, and vibes. Full of heart and personality. Cinematic too; most would make good films. Big recommend.

*including Crime 101, soon to be a movie

The new Predator film is getting better reviews than the new Daniel Day Lewis film.

If I had known Geena Davis spent so much of Cutthroat Island with a monkey on her shoulder, I would've watched it years ago.

It's really weird that they made spoofs of Scream and Cabin in the Woods, because those two films were *already* satires on horror subgenres.
