A fresh haircut, a 10am buncha crunch, and I’m about to watch Now You 3 Me!

Just watched Panic Room for the first time. Even lower-tier Fincher has such great form and discipline that a lot of other current filmmakers today just lack. Really fun tense movie!

I don’t live in New York, but will still be showing support to Zohran tonight by tossing on the criterion blu-ray of Mississippi Masala I bought back in July

Sincere post: it is one of the greatest joys of my adult life to be able to see the magic of the holidays renewed through the eyes of a younger generation. Hunting for eggs on Easter, Trick or Treating on Halloween, hiding under the covers so the Night Turkey doesn't peck your penis off, Santa Claus

The thing that got me most excited during that whole “This Season On” look they did at the end of the #ITWelcometoDerry premiere was the confirmation that Dick Hallorann is going to be up to some Shining nonsense!

What the hell is Muschietti’s thing with having random insert shots of a character throwing up? #ITWelcometoDerry

Watching the It: Welcome to Derry show and cheering on the couch because they referenced turtles.

Watching The Thing, as is tradition around this time of year. This is easily Kurt Russell’s best role. I love this tired paranoid man that MacReady is.

Wrote up, what i think might be one of my longest Letterboxd reviews for @realgdt.bsky.social’s Frankenstein. A film that might be one of my new favorites for the year! boxd.it/buiKUNe
A ★★★★ review of Frankenstein (2025)
I will preface this by saying, I only kinda sorta read Frankenstein one time when I took AP Literature my senior year of high school. And by kinda sorta, I mean I skimmed the shit out of it and almost...

Don’t know why I’m so upset about people saying the Bruce Springsteen movie is bad when I’ve pretty much hated every other movie Scott Cooper has made.

Watched The Mummy's Tomb this morning. Very funny to have a movie that is an hour long and spend a quarter of its runtime recapping the previous movie.
Anyway, I guess here’s as good as place as any to announce I’ve been watching the OG Universal monster movies for the first time and I’m having a blast! Boris Karloff in The Mummy is going absolute sicko mode!

Seems like everyone’s jumping back on here again. How long’s the migration gonna last this time? Cause I feel like we’re only ever here for a couple weeks at most before moving back to the other place?

I enjoyed Nickel Boys for the most part. But think I might need to give it another chance when I’m not sitting so close to the screen. Cause where I was in the theater mixed with the first person POV made me wanna throw up throughout most of the first hour.
