Good morning, America. I just *love* seeing the excessive force of police first things (9 cars and a rubber bullet) to someone clearly having some kind of mental break literally outside my window. (Undressed state, nonresponsive holding a rock)

Building housing in cities prevents sprawl, protects forests & farmland. Seattle's own study determined construction of SF homes to be the biggest threat to tree retention. Instead of weakening urban housing capacity, we should embrace the opportunity to create livable, walkable communities. (3/3)

This pride month, I'd like a job, please. If the gods of the internet could make that happen, I promise I'd be a very good girl all year. 🙏🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

No, seriously. Unemployed since Feb. Could use some work. 😭

In case y'all missed it - Utah Republicans ordered a study on transgender healthcare, expecting it to come back unsupportive.

Instead, it found that trans youth care was safe and effective, and that transgender youth need it.

Whoops.

Utah lawmakers’ own study found gender-affirming care benefits trans youth. Will they lift the treatment ban?
The Utah Legislature's own newly-released study found that gender-affirming care benefits trans youth. Now, will lawmakers lift the treatment ban?

Great video by @conflictish!

Division only serves individuals, and so the powerful benefit the most by there being more of it. I challenge you to rehumanize someone you really dislike or hate. Not agree with their thoughts or actions, but see their humanity.

Pedestrean friendly just feel more humane to me. I'm glad that it's now possible to have roads that prioritize people instead of cars.

Remember. You can't make the wealthy a scapegoat for all of society's problems because it's literally their fault.

I dislike how the city phrased Prop 1b. Feels a bit misleading vs the money that's projected in 1 year for Prop 1a.
