I’ve said this before but it remains true- I have the hardest time raising for older men and they also are the ones who wait the longest to ask for help
I’m sharing a Palestinian account every day and today is Louay. Louay is 55 years old and is trying to take care of his family including children and grandchildren. He lost his home and job and is tasked with the monumental task of starting over with an uncertain future and many people to support.

Update: Awdah Hathaleen’s body was returned Aug 7 after 70 women in Umm Al-Khair, ages 13–70+, ended a hunger strike. Hundreds mourned but many blocked. Canada must sanction Israel’s state-backed settler violence & ongoing genocide. buff.ly/wwN1xTr

I’m sharing a Palestinian account every day and today is Mahmoud. Mahmoud worked in construction and his wife was an English teacher prior to this. They have two small children Ibrahim, 3 and Alma, 1. They lost their homes and jobs and are living in a tent in Gaza City (which is being attacked now).
