fascists canonically have undescended testes

that’s a nice idea but we have ample example that elected officials answer more to their party than their constituents
November 12, 2025 at 8:41 PM
hot take if elected officials are doing human trafficking, purge them from office and throw them in jail
November 12, 2025 at 8:37 PM
so then what was the point of the shutdown if there was never a world where they win on the ACA subsidies? how do you explain it to a voter?
November 11, 2025 at 12:51 AM
those conversations can be easier or harder depending on the choices democrats make between now and November of 2026
November 11, 2025 at 12:40 AM
that’s the problem here. when I talk to an average voter in PA that isn’t overtly partisan, their perception is that republicans suck, but democrats are letting it happen.

we can argue whether that’s fair or not, but it’s the reality, and it’s a tough reality to try to cut through.
November 11, 2025 at 12:39 AM
don’t disagree on that front!

but when people face skyrocketing healthcare premiums, is it easier or harder to pin the blame on the GOP when the perception is that Democrats backed down and are letting it happen?

it can’t just be “look, we can’t be any worse”
November 11, 2025 at 12:37 AM
that's a great pitch to the highly engaged voter, but how does that work with the average person that doesn't like politics and doesn't consistently vote?
November 11, 2025 at 12:22 AM
you don’t see the actions of safe democrats as influencing overall voter perception of the party writ large?
November 11, 2025 at 12:12 AM
agree with that entirely! I expect we disagree on how to get there, but not on the need.
November 10, 2025 at 11:54 PM
accurate
November 10, 2025 at 11:52 PM
fantastic, what have you done the past nine years
November 10, 2025 at 11:48 PM
don’t worry he still sucks an unbelievable amount
November 10, 2025 at 11:46 PM
to be clear, didn't vote for them in 2006 either!
November 10, 2025 at 11:27 PM
cool i haven't voted for a republican since i started voting in 2006 so not at all relevant (especially since bernie has nothing to do with chuck schumer caving on a vote)
November 10, 2025 at 11:26 PM
how many doors did you knock in swing states? just checking.
November 10, 2025 at 11:24 PM
you're right, criticizing democrats on bluesky post-election is why we lost the election despite me directly going to voter's homes telling them how important it was to vote for harris
