You know what, I want to see Velma’s book collection.

We’re watching ‘Trick or Treat Scooby Doo’ and Velma says she buys a copy of every criminal’s book that they capture to get insight into the criminal mind.

Show me that collection!

Today my little victory was buying the unhealthiest snack from the protein bar section instead of the healthiest snack from the candy bar section and idk in 2025 I’m calling that a win

Readers have always been talking about books.

Always.

Before any social media existed.

Readers will continue to talk about books, even when social media no longer exists.

Readers always find a way.

Never forget that in 1861 Charles Darwin wrote in a letter to a friend..

“But I am very poorly today and very stupid and hate everybody and everything"

...because this is my favorite reminder that we can do great things even if we don't always have great days

I have been influenced me to try Fable. I joined 15 minutes ago, and I already have all of this data. It was super easy to link my Goodreads data. I’ve used Goodreads since its inception, but it linked my data within a few minutes.

I am so done with dumb takes on reading.

Read what you love. Let others do the same.

Not all books are for all readers.

There are many plot devices that writers employ. Just because you don’t like a device doesn’t mean a writer hasn’t done their job. It just means that’s not your cup of tea.
