Infectious disease physician and hospital epidemiologist at the Richmond VAMC in Richmond, VA, and assistant professor of ID at VCU. Way too junior to speak for the federal government. Cincy-bred, and UVA-, Duke-, and Stanford-trained.
I love the spellbinding talks where the PowerPoint is a few pictures with a quote or two

No kidding. We got dinged for scheduling a few travelers close to their travel date instead of within 28 days of when the consult was placed!

I had to get through a couple lectures first, but I finally finished Theodore Rex. It was much more of a blow-by-blow of his Presidency than a portrait of the man that Rise Of Roosevelt was, but it was still fascinating. I have to take a break but will finish the trilogy with Colonel Roosevelt.

Listened to a talk about using it for letters of recommendation and it seemed like by the time you got the prompt good enough to make a letter you could have already written it yourself.

Do you think attendance will send any strong messages to the front office? Can’t sat I’m excited to spend any money to watch the Kickers be uncompetitive.

People just have to touch the stove, unfortunately.

I hope that also got them an automatic kick in the nuts

Would not want this to be my league’s national display of refereeing

That’s an interesting study bc I usually make that switch to drop ABC for the possible cardiac risk, not really for weight (it’s BIC/FTC/TAF to DTG/3TC for that). It would be nice if this study has an ongoing follow-up period to see if there is a lower risk of cardiac events with the switch.

From a VA perspective, the cytology is fairly easy to get (when the patient is agreeable), but the HRA is extremely difficult to get even on higher-grade abnormalities bc there are very few physicians who do that.

Do you think this makes him GK1 at least until the Kickers are eliminated from playoff contention?

That makes sense to me. I always tell learners that I think the improved outcomes with ID consultation is purely about approaching SAB systematically (and also being obsessed with not overlooking deep foci)

That was…not great, though I will say that Lage seems like what they needed in the back.

I was actually just pondering why there doesn’t seem to be much action for League One as a loan destination (or maybe that’s just a Kickers thing). It seems like a good option for a cash-strapped team.

No, not yet! I wanted to get closer to my book goal before starting another 900 page book. It’s one of my next books in the coming months.

And it’s hilarious that the highlight package leaves out the controversial play altogether www.uslleagueone.com/richmondkick...
