I got one last order from Japan last week. This order got in just before the de minimus tarrif exception was lifted. Thanks to Plaza Japan, who shipped this lightening quick after a national holiday.

This little 1/32 scale Toyota 2000GT snuck up on me. I usually build these with my son, but I had a great time just doing this one by myself.

More Choro-Q / Penny Racers! Takara Tomy
Choro-Q or Penny Racer from Takara Tomy! A mixture of manual and electric Choro-Q were delivered by Plaza Japan yesterday. My son really seems to like them and I'm reliving some old memories. The electric ones need batteries, likely old stock. This one is my old school pull-back, a Nissan GT-R.

I'm building this with my son, a Bandai ASW-G-XX Gundam Vidar Master Grade (MG). These Gunpla kits fun builds that I do with my son. No paint except maybe a bit of panel liner. They are so easy to assemble = nothing like an American plastic model kit that takes tons of work.

My current hobby project is a model car, a Tamiya Nissan R34, GT-R Nismo. There's something about laying down a nice coat of paint that's really satisfying.

I don't share much about my hobbies... Why? Not sure. In the last few weeks, I've added an H&S Infinity 2024 to keep my other 2 Infinitys company, some models (cars, gunpla including an MG Vidar), and seemingly every bottle of Mr. Hobby Thinner, Leveling Thinner, Rapid Thinner that I could find.

Not sure what I'll do about Facebook. It's the only way I keep up with some family. However, that family doesn't reach out to me. Ever. So...? And some distant friends - that's a bit problematic.
