This happened long before the advent of Christ, but Jesus came to mediate, so our Lord has always been aware of our mounting disunity. Jesus proved it on the Cross. We continue to ignore the lesson at our peril.

I believe that the 'anti-Christ' is a movement, neither a single person nor a cabal, but a global shift in how humans think of other humans, so basically, it started when we noticed our differences.
