This year has been a lot and quite taxing on me mentally and physically especially with this years hamster issues earlier.

Which is fine. I’d not trade her for anything she’s perfect. It was just a huge adjustment and a bit of lost sleep over a couple of weeks.
She’s currently 4 weeks old and her name is Pumpkin! She’s full Mainecoon.
She oddly was accepted by my other cats much faster than even introducing them to-

Next, we got a kitten!
She was a suprise from a family member who told us it would be years before they bred kittens. (Assuming it would be when my current cats are much older, though some are seniors already).
But they did it within 9 months of the conversation lmao.

He’s a baby Syrian hamster.
Not sure on exact age but he is TINY BABY.
Like he is SO small and definitely one of the smallest Syrians I’ve ever brought home 😅

I think this might be one of my favorite cage “hamsterscapes” I’ve done so far. I wish the enclosure allowed for deeper bedding but I was still able to fit quite a lot!

We had him euthanized this morning.
Everyone has gotten better from the fungus with the treatment except him. His over 2 years old.
And was having complications due to age and the fungus.
