The efforts of brilliant former senators like Vicente Sotto Sr., Claro Recto, Amang Rodriguez, Ka Tanny Tañada, Gerry Roxas, Ninoy Aquino, Ka Pepe Diokno, Ka Jovy Salonga, Nene Pimentel, and others that made the Senate a prestigious institution now lie in waste.

The 18 senators who voted to remand VPSD's impeachment to the House of Representatives without citing any law provisions or legal precedents were so disgusting that they bastardized the already stained reputation of the Senate.

The Senate has indeed lost its prestige, a shadow of its former glory.

Seriously, he needs to reflect deeply to discern what is right and wrong with his actions, given that he is a professor at an esteemed institution.

He is such an embarrassment to the academic community. Clearly, he is wasting his earned credentials due to his unhinged worship of the Dutertes.

I hope that sometime in the future, "Mabaho" will find enlightenment and break out of his hardened shell of fanaticism to redeem himself.

"Mabaho" is also known for his childish and petty tantrums online whenever his arguments are rebutted.

He is so enamored with the Dutertes that he convinced ADDU to secure funding for his research about his idols, resulting in a book on the subject. His explanations and arguments, especially when interviewed about the Dutertes, always pivot to a point where he consistently praises and justifies.....

I hope that the "Pink Wave" continues to thrive so that more competent and more qualified leaders who advocate for good governance are elected.

In this way, true social progress, which will facilitate economic growth, will be achieved, and a brighter future for the next generation will be ensured.

The results of the recently concluded election show how unpredictable the outcome was, as surveys and other polls revealed vastly different results. The election further illustrated that the "Pink Wave" remains alive and has proven its strength, leading to the triumph of Kiko, Bam, Akbayan, and ML.

Thus, Chel Diokno, Akbayan's 1st nominee, will become a representative and a member of the 20th Congress.

Also, Mamamayang Liberal (ML) was able to garner enough votes to clinch a seat in the HOR; thus, former Sen. Leila de Lima, ML's 1st nominee, will also become a representative.
