Love comics, Liverpool Football Club and my wife.

Not necessarily in that order.

I don't understand why there's not more people talking about it(at least in my circles), because it's an incredible read every month. I actually can't wait to get this in trade(hopefully hardcover DC!) so I can recommend or loan it to friends.

*mild spoilers* Yes, Spider-Boy is in this issue and yes, he is still fucking annoying.

If you make the Court Gotham high society's reaction to Batman's whole "you've eaten well" speech in Year One, and they grow from there till now, without him knowing, then I think that could work.

But yeah Hush is a one trick pony.

LOL. Only people that'll be upset by this are the Nazis......who will claim that they're not Nazis, but will instead claim that it somehow ruins Cap or Diana.

Wouldn't be comics if someone didn't find a nonsensical reason to be "outraged" by something.

True. I'm just continually amazed that people will fall for this type of thing and be left with a book that's ultimately not gonna have any worth other than being the subject of an article on CBR at some point in the next five years.

Watters is a really good writer, Dark Patterns is evidence enough of that, but it just feels like he's treading water on this book. There's glimpses of good stuff, the annual was great, as is everything with Maggie Sawyer. But everything else has been just....there.

Strange one. The controversy is attached to the creator more than anything, while the book itself is pretty much a nothing burger of an issue. So you'd be overpaying for what exactly?

Mine came yesterday. First shirt I've bought in five years, because it's a masterpiece.

I've not listened to it yet, but I've got a ton of time for Rucka. Met him a few times and he's a good dude.

I hadn't heard of her either until the initial announcement and decided to follow her to get a feeling for what the book would be like. Let's just say I started to get a not too pleasant picture of what we might've been in for.

And I'm stressing that it was to do with the writing, not the person.

They should just Elseworlds it, because the only connection from that story to the main Bat continuity just got cancelled, and no one is bothered because Fraction's run feels like a continuation from Zdarsky's.
