The days are getting increasingly short, there’s a bitterness in the air and I’m already longing for next summer’s garden.

Finally it’s #peony season here in zone 3! I found this stunner in our neighbourhood botanical gardens.

Hello! Lovely to be surrounded by so many passionate gardening folks from across the world.

I’m based in Calgary (zone 3) so only have a short outdoor gardening season, but manage to produce lots of veggies, herbs, and flowers in my backyard. I also like to preserve my harvest to enjoy all winter!

It’s snowing today here in Treaty 7 territory, and it’s hard to believe the garden looked like this mere weeks ago. Love me some sweet peas. Hope you enjoy them too.
