Wow, what a read. If you love a suburban horror, this is right up your alley.
It is queer, and POC centered, always refreshing to find in horror

Am I stress crocheting because the news is *gestures wildly*? Maybe...
But look at this ace pride bucket hat I made!!

I figure somebody needs a queer Santa hat to wear and stir up the family Christmas 😆

And, because this platform is nice and doesn't punish us for self promotion, have a link:

A cute little romance with a small mystery twist

I cannot say enough good things about this book, it is easily my favorite read of the year so far.
I expected it to be depressing, given the current state of things, but it was actually uplifting.
Like the author said: "once we know how the card trick works, we stop falling for it"

I can say very little about this book without spoiling the plot, so I'll just say it went PLACES, and I was happily buckled up for the ride the entire time.

A huge shout out to those still masking in public. I see you, i appreciate you 💙
It always makes me smile when someone buys one of these from my little shop.

Finlay stresses me out, but it's such a good story, I can't quit reading 🤣

I never read either prequel before this year, but I eventually got curious with all the chatter.
If you enjoyed the original trilogy, it is worth reading the prequels. Maybe especially now.

I waited months for this one, and it fully lived up to the hype.

Immaculate fall vibes, cute small town, and a fun romance.
I need more in this vein.

This one was quite a wait and well worth it. I don't come across many full cast recordings, but they're always a good time.

This was the perfect witchy book to get rolling with fall, and thank goodness it wasn't a revenge on an ex plot. There are entirely too many in this genre.

This one was really something. I knew a lot about Top Model and how cruel it all was (because much of it made it to air, the cruelty was the point), but wow, it was way worse behind the scenes.

When I started backyard birding I was given some great advice: you can spend your entire life fighting the squirrels, or you can just feed them, too.
Recently, I bought a platform feeder that is shaped like a porch swing and hung it near my bird feeders. It is a daily delight.

I usually avoid YA, but I'm glad I didn't this time. This book was fun, scary, and heartwarming (also, as it turns out, the characters are in their early-mid 20s). It centers queer people in a caring, relatable way that I'm pleasantly finding more and more.

I decided to work up a design for a watermelon beanie for Palestinian solidarity to add to my shop.
I'm at a loss of what to do or how to help outside of raise awareness and use my income to donate to organizations helping the cause, so here we are.

This is the third book I've read, and loved by Riley Sager this summer. They all have some serious Goosebumps for grownups vibes

This one was very scary, but could have been half as long and still told the entire story.

Working on assembly for a cardigan I made to sell. I rarely make large, expensive items because they don't sell quickly, but I want to challenge myself more

My tickseed plant doesn't like me, I think. I added some fertilized top soil to try and nudge it into bloom.
The zinnias are ready to take over the world

Open door romance isn't much my jam (I skipped the spice, TBH), but it was worth it for the core of this story, which is healing and heartwarming.
I borrowed this one firstly for the narrator, Julia Whelan, who was won awards, and I definitely see why.
