Every new treatment developed with US dollars anywhere in the world ultimately benefits US citizens, too. And often also US pharmaceutical interests.

And meanwhile saying nothing about the actual burdens imposed by the onerous in-person medical exemption (IDEP) process for people who need to go to Manhattan's non-UES hospitals. A single year of treatment for a high-grade cancer can mean 75 trips!
