Eh, whatevs. I’m too high to further debate the exact retcon issues of the fallout series so I’ll just take your word for it I guess.

But that’s the thing with the Enclave in 3, it’s not that they said “secretly the whole organization survived”, it’s like the same with NV. The Enclave on the oil rig was destroyed in Fallout 2 but there were still members in places like Chicago, Appalachia, and ofc the Mojave.

That’s not me defending other games tho, none of the writing in any of the games makes sense, but mfs need to stop taking it so damn seriously all the time and hate on one thing while doing mental gymnastics to justify shit in the other games.

I’ll just say this, FNV used to be my second favorite game hands down, but now it’s become one of my least favorite games in the series because of the people who treat the games writing like a messiah. You’re a mailman who gets shot and lives and takes over Vegas? The writing makes no sense.

The mental gymnastics of the majority of fallout fans never ceases to amaze me.

Don’t put this all on Fallout 3, New Vegas has the same issue with reusing factions. They bring back the Enclave and Brotherhood as well.
