Stumbled across this console feed reader Bulletty from @crocidb.bsky.social that stores all articles as Markdown in a local cache. With some minor tweaks those can be automatically converted to really nice PDFs using Pandoc.

RSS-Librarian, a tool to store individual web articles in a custom feed, now has an iOS shortcut to quickly add articles to the personal library. No need to open the webpage to add a URL, just share it.

I went online for the first time in 1988. The Internet of my childhood was one of pseudonyms and no accounts. I keep bumping into younger generations who do not even understand that concept anymore.

The solution is decentralize until the web becomes ungovernable again.
