I feel like people need to appreciate the knitwear’s commitment to the craft a little more, so here’s a pic

The book I’m reading reminded me that there was a real actual biopic about Thomas Kinkade and obviously I was forced to google it. Whoever wrote the Wikipedia plot summary, please know that I love you.

Oh no this is the County of Los Angeles flag:
Just the saddest fucking flag. The seal of LA County on a blue field with a green bar at the bottom. On the green bar it says COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES in yellow, which means that “County of Los Angeles” is on the flag twice. Kenneth Hahn designed this flag and I am not surprised.

It’s terrible, I regret to say (but LA city’s is worse):
The flag of the city of Long Beach. It has a swoopy thick white line running side to side. The bottom is blue and the top is yellow. The yellow part has the city seal in it. The blue part has “CITY OF LONG BEACH” with “THE INTERNATIONAL CITY” in italics, because why not all caps and italics? Why not, I say?

I took these pictures for you this morning! They’re mostly of tomato plants because I planted 23 and a bunch more just happened.
The tiniest tomato plant ever; every leaf is a miniature and the whole thing is both abundantly green and growing and extremely wee. Tomato plants as weeds, volunteers growing in terrible soil that is not nearly deep enough and somehow thriving. The newest tomato plants currently in my garden, planted two days ago in grow bags because the beds are full. More tomato plants in a planter
