I earned the first Alliance Ring in the Wardens of the Eastern Marches at #GameholeCon! This also means that Baern is a Major in the Sovereign Military Order of Asura (soon to be Captain)!

When I get Chinese food, I always look forward to the cookie and playing the "is this a fortune" game, where I judge the text of the cookie for fortunate-ness.

This was not a fortune. It is also a lie.

My desktop(s) at work are a random collection of board game related pictures. I hovered over something that showed me the current backgrounds and I saw that, evidently, I am a Cylon.

I also went to Benihana's and got a commemorative mug from there. This means that both times I've been to Hoopla, I have brought back a drinking vessel of some sort. This one is much cooler than the wires lemonade glass though.

Five brave investigators set out to forestall the rise of the Antidiluvian in Eldritch Horror tonight. Unfortunately, they did not succeed.

I went to a Chinese buffet yesterday and the server gave me these two cute paper animals! For the one with a big tail, he motioned to the Riverfolk otter on my T (art by @d20plusmodifier.bsky.social ).

The last game of the day was Ezra & Nehemiah. We all were competing to rebuild Jerusalem, teach Torah, and furnish and supply the temple. I really liked the game, although I'm hesitant on the theme because I don't know if there is lurking anti-Semitism.

I failed the willpower test and picked up Root: The Roleplaying Game - Travelers and Outsiders. I also grabbed No Thanks! which is a classic light, high player count game for sharing with folks at work.
